THE DESK — WHY A BOUND LEDGER

Double-entry is honest: every posting balances, nothing is invented.

VBR INVESTMENTS LLC is registered at 613 Williamsburg Dr, Cleveland, OH 44143, in Cuyahoga County — on the lakefront city's east side, in the Richmond Heights area. We keep the company's scope the way a good bookkeeper keeps a ledger: five bound books, every entry posted once, and the whole thing balanced at the close.

// THE IDEA

A record, not a sales pitch.

Financial websites blur lines easily — own-account speculation dressed as client service, a reference page reading like a fund prospectus. The ledger discipline keeps us honest: every category posts plainly under its book, principal-side marked principal-side, and the ledger itself is a record — never an invitation.

That discipline is written into the terms: L-01–09 are own-account categories, not client services; L-10–15 are fee-paid advisory formats; L-28/29 expressly exclude real estate; L-33 is nondepository. This website is not an offer, prospectus, account portal, or trading channel.

// DESK RULES

Three rules written inside the front cover.

1 · Post it as it is

Every category enters the ledger exactly as registered — principal work marked own-account, advisory marked fee-paid, infrastructure marked as machinery. No entry borrows credibility it hasn't earned.

2 · Balanced means bounded

Where a category carries an exclusion — nondepository, except-real-estate, non-medical equivalents — the boundary posts with the entry, not buried in a footnote.

3 · Keep the books current

Descriptions, address, and contact details are maintained. Letters to the desk are answered in the order received.

// AT THE DESK

Questions we hear often.

Is this website an offer to sell investments or securities?
No. The Site is an informational reference describing our registered business scope. Nothing here is a prospectus, offer, solicitation, or personalized investment advice — and you cannot open accounts, subscribe to funds, or send money through this Site.
What's the difference between BOOK P and BOOK C?
BOOK P (L-01–09) covers categories where the firm acts as principal — investing or dealing for its own account. BOOK C (L-10–15) covers customized advisory work where the client pays the fee. One is our capital, the other is your contract — the ledger keeps them in separate books.
Does escrow or fiduciary work include real estate?
No. L-28 and L-29 explicitly exclude real estate escrow and fiduciary agencies — those are separate regulated categories outside our listed scope.
Are the trust companies here banks?
L-33 covers nondepository trust companies — entities that administer trusts without taking deposits. The category is deliberately nondepository; this is not a bank.
